MICROSUCTION
Micro-suction ear cleaning is the most effective and safe method of ear wax and debris removal from within the auditory canal. It removes excess ear wax and anything else in the ear that shouldn't be there using an ultra thin, glass suction tube similar to a tiny vacuum. Along with tiny medical instruments called curettes if required.

Because micro-suction ear cleaning is a safer and easier method of ear cleaning, than other options, it is available for all people from the age of 5 and up. It is also an ideal method for those with hearing devices, grommets or those with sensitive ears.

Tara will first inspect your ears using high-tech, Vorotek glasses which allows her to see clearly into the ear and remove wax carefully from the ear canal.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
It is beneficial to use drops which will soften the wax before coming to visit our clinic. We advise using Chemist grade Olive Oil as a softening agent 2 days prior to your appointment if possible. Alternatively use Ear Clear. Both Available from chemists. (Note, Do not use either if you have a Ruptured Eardrum, Grommets or following Ear Surgery).

Senior and Concession holders: $110
Note $10 discount given for patients who present with a written GP or audiologist recommendation.
